2026 Board of Directors Nominations


The board seeks to elect the seats of two (2) regular director positions whose terms will expire on 09/30/2025. Directors shall be elected by the members of the NYCSGA by a majority vote at the September 5, 2025 Board of Directors annual meeting for a term of three (3) years. Candidates must be residents of New York and regular grower members of the NYCSGA. All directors must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. Newly elected Directors will begin their terms effective October 1, 2025. The board will also appoint two (2) industry representatives for a term of three (3) years. The industry representatives’ term will also be effective on October 1, 2025.

Candidates should expect to:

  • Attend 4 full-day in-state board meetings per year
  • Attend the Winter Expo (January)
  • Attend the Summer Crop Tour (August)
  • Participate in advocacy efforts, committees, and frequently engage with the Executive Director as the need arises
  • Attend Commodity Classic and various fly-in events in DC (encouraged)
  • Complete an online training program (required for first-year candidates)

Nominations are due by Monday, June 30, 2025.
