The board seeks to elect two (2) regular Director positions whose terms will expire on 09/30/2024. Directors shall be elected by the members of the Association by a majority vote at the September 5, 2024 Board of Directors meeting for a term of three (3) years, must be residents of New York and regular grower members of the NYCSGA. All Directors must be at least twenty-four (24) years of age. Newly elected Directors will begin their terms effective October 1, 2024.

Candidates should expect to:

  • Attend 4 full-day in-state board meetings per year
  • Attend the Winter Expo (January)
  • Attend the Summer Crop Tour (August)
  • Participate in advocacy efforts, committees, and frequently engage with the Executive Director as the need arises
  • Attend Commodity Classic and various fly-in events in DC (encouraged)
  • Complete an online training program (required for first-year candidates)
